The Olde Avesbury pattern comes from an original pattern book noted as 1932 and housed in the Royal Crown Derby archives. The design itself is one of the most popular and has been adapted to take on many color combinations over the years, both in pattern and background, embellished in 22ct gold for a more contemporary look with elegance that never dates.
